after much searching (yet not found) for bavon ultimate travel companion, mamba couldnt help but to find one for herself.

mamba swear by samsonite as THE TRAVEL BAG, no other came close. maybe Lojel but still by at least a mile.

bee & precious mambas was dragged in this hunt in SP last Friday evening.

3 shops later, comparing everything from price, color, design, weight, 2 wheeler vs 4 wheeler and the ever so important brand (includes carlton modo (?), mendoza, eminent etc), .......the verdict:

samsonite - black color 4 wheeler 28" non expandable - RM1170 after discount

delsey - bronze/platinum 4 wheeler 28" expandable up to 2", 30% lighter (due to it's teflon material)- RM779 after discount

and the winner is....

Asian Farang will no doubt argue....mamba is more of a samsonite person (just as she is a sony person...sigh! it's tough to live up to AsFg standard)........VFM (Value for Money) wins hands down yet again. with delsey, mamba is sure to get her ROI (Return On Investment) after Spore, HK & Bandung. putting at least 10 pairs of shoes is no challenge for delsey teflon.....

the reviews seems to be outstanding (unlike sony handycam of which mamba came to her senses and mamba opted for a jvc instead......AsFg is of the opinion that mamba is a sony type, cut the marketing crap please, if it's good it's good).

mamba couldnt update the blog fast enough. mamba got it all written in her head, just waiting for tonight to express it all out. so imagine how mamba felt when AsFg put the title which was exactly what mamba planned to put...SCARY!

anyway...BOB-O must be truly the reincarnation of BOB .

Bob... who went to Tibet to meditate and forget all his worldly possesion....he had to be reminded by mamba that without his worldly posession, we wouldnt even get to Tibet!

...ok back to BOB with extra O. She did quite well mamba must say.... it was a frightening experience......mamba had to caution her that no one has touched mamba's hair other than BOB with one O for the past 4 years.....

Finally, my toy is here. It's silver in colour for OG's ref. The only setback is that, I have difficulties in downloading the songs. I tunes pun slow, lime wire lagi lah selow, kalah tortoise tempang! That really bring down the mood, how to listen to songs from the ipod if cannot download the songs. I can only do it in the office since I dont have internet access kat rumah. Still procrastinating whether I shud spend rm120 per month in times like this for the broadband.

Looks like, I will have to do it from office dulu lah. Busy morning tomorrow coz of AGM and BOD meeting. Jgn carik I pulak since mamba pun bz.

this actually happened last friday... but lupa nak citer..
since it happens again today.. baru teringat..

as usual, last friday, went in to the 'bus' (my transport to work)..
and i saw this familliar face - this pilipino guy (IT) yang pernah kerje kat KL tu..
but, i cant remember his name..

so, i sat beside him and say Hi.. (memang pemalu, tapi peramah - im talking abt me...)
and, then he said Hi.. and the conversation stops there..
i dont think he remembers me (i dont have any dealing with him pun in KL and dont want him to remember me pun lah)
I just heard that bini colin dulu kan syok kat dia (not sure its true or not lah..)

that was my first time i saw him in bus..

so, when the bus stops in west building (local opco building - MAMBA and BAVON - thats your meeting place when you were in BKK), he said something in talalog to me..
Im said "Sorry..."then he look out at the window and then get down..
macam dah tau this is his office lah..
OK, fine.. habis citer..

then, on the same evening, as im walking home from Siam Square, again i bumped into him..
again he said something in Tagalog... and againI said, Sorry...
As its just a brief encounter, (selisih bahu jer).. so, i keep on walking lah..

THIS MORNING, in bus, AGAIN he said something in tagalog..
this time, im prepared..
I said, Hi.. I know I can qualify as Thai, Philipino, Indonesian, but im Malaysian..
Tergamam lah budak tu.. then suddenly this Indian guy came to rescue the morning..
he sat in between me and that guy...

moral of the story, next time, guna lah bahasa antarabangsa.. then kalau tau orang tu sekampung, baru tibai bahasa ibunda, ni tidak... pakai cakap jer...

by the way, i think you guys know abt this person - may be MAMBA knows better sebab area duduk sama kan.. what is his name ah?

Anyway, it's half past three already on a Friday. Can't wait to finish the day and head to my home town. A journey which normally takes 2 1/2 hrs but bcoz of the fuel increase, I will try to be lower on the accelerator la. I wish I have my nano with me today to accompany me coz certain2 stretch tu esp after seremban, the reception not that good. So, will have to rely on my CD collection to unwind.

I have anor important mission to do when I go back today which is ....jeng...jeng....jeng.... to hantar the materials to Auntie Keng for Mr. & Mrs Mamba, baju rayas. Kalau hantar lambat, takut tak siap pulak nanti. I know there's 4 months to go, but time flies when ur having fun they said. And, sure I kena maki hamun till the cow comes home kalau I couldn't get it ready in time for Raya by you know who lah.

Before, my menyekik frens start to menyekik about me being free to blog, I'd better stop here. Better finish vetting my contract if I want to head home on time. Chow bebs...

this time it's THE BALL.
what it does is provide ventilation for the laptop~less heat. if you need to reposition the laptop, just slide it. the best part is the keyboard slant position allows comfortable typing. just like a PC keyboard.

it's easy to install too.

1) attached the sticky part to the laptop

2) when needed, just attached the ball to the velcro.

3) and tah dah! you're ready to go....

~ moments with little mambas……they seem to pick up mambamania techniques quite well…

2) mambachat
~ IM with fellow species…....hobbies (as per defined above) is not main occupation........given that we IM and do work on the sideline......doesn't that mean IM is our main occupation??? so basically IM is the job, thus making work the hobby....? hmmm....

3) mambamuffin ~ as per defined : an activity pursued for pleasure & relaxation......30 cupcakes is pleasure, 80 cupcakes is sheer hard work! This was proven last weekend. Guess who's not opening a bakery soon?

4) mambapakchoy ~checking the tapak semaian for pakchoy & kailan growing 2 inches is not necessarily pleasure and relaxation. More like anxiety & stress.
The Demalogica girls was shocked that I didn't do my manicure......my response : "if I start growing my nails back means my pak choy stop growing".....we'll wait and see.
